Merry Christmas! I hope no one is reading this and is having a lovely day. I hope the presents you have received (be it of material or emotional significance) bring joy and so much laughter it hurts.

I don't have a lot to say. Just chugging along, making New Year's resolutions every day. Writing up a new chapter for The Drunk Boys (Chapter 14, whoo!)

Feel welcome to link to a pic of your Christmas gift.

Hey,

The Newgrounds Writing Anthology is getting an audiobook!

I'm looking for a bunch of voice actors to contribute to the Newgrounds Writing Anthology Audiobook.

If you know of some great voice actors on NG, drop their name in the comments and I'll get in contact with them.

Inspired by friend Gabriel Urbina's recent posts tributing classic and modern radio drama, I wanted to share this little gem. Though technically used as background noise in the context of a larger alien invasion story in a video game, The "Henry Stillman Radio Broadcasts", an "only heard" side plot about a Philadelphia radio personality reporting the harrowing happenings on 4th street as he sits trapped within his own broadcasting studio, proved to be the highlight of the game when it came to evoking the human casualty of Resistance 2's narrative. All told its 15 minutes of concise and phenomenally acted piece of invasion theater. Enjoy.

It should be noted that these broadcasts do occur at specific points in the game which occurs over a period of weeks, though the events are only broadly connected. I still think they work as long as you keep in mind that the story time between broadcasts is significant. This, for example, is why Henry is running out of food.

Hello everyone,

It has been an exciting, eventful past week and a half or so. But by far the most exciting news of all is that the horror-comedy, "Clinger" starring Jennifer Laporte and Vincent Martella ("Phineas and Ferb", "Role Models", "The Walking Dead"), the first film I helped make out of school, has been selected to premiere at The Slamdance Film festival in Park City, Utah, the same festival that the likes of Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight), Behn Zeitlin (Beasts of the Southern Wild) have been acknowledged in.

The screening dates have not been set yet, but I will know soon. In the meantime, here's a trailer for you guys.

Reactions to Star Wars trailer from someone who hasn't seen Star Wars:

0:12 - Oh, look, Tatooine.
0:17 - Thanos?
0:22 - ARgh... who is thaat.. Attack the Block, Attack the Block, Michael B- No, racist Ben!
0:30 - Aw. R2D-thing.
0:35 - They're jettisoning the storm troopers!
0:39 - I was wondering if they were going to have pod-racing. I really liked that from the only movie in the series I've seen.
0:45 - Camera angle seems familiar.
0:47 - Awesome, avoided lens flare. Also, aren't those called x-wings or something?
0:51 - Voldemort?
0:55 - No... Darth Maul  .... Also a crusader. So long, Kurosawa.
1:05 - It's the Star Wars Millenium Falcon Disc Shooter Gun!

1:06 - What's that strangely familiar sound?
1:07 - It's the cardboard cutouts that came with the gun!
1:10 - AAAHAGHAGHAHAHAHA!
1:12 Hmmm... eh, okay.
