Let me make up for that shitty review below.

Is it earthshaking? No. But that's okay. It's definitely ambient and I think it's at it's best when you add the nice little touches. The quirk at :22 is a good example. Wish you had kept up that mindset.
I found the guitar a little off, and didn't much care for the sampled beat (which seemed to be the sliced end bit of the guitar riff?) that arrived about a minute in.

Just could have used a little more bits of surprise. Nice work.

XTheNewgrounder responds:

I definitely approve this review much more. It actually told me WHAT was wrong with the song, and what could be improved. Thanks :)

What a terrible, terrible book. Please do not torture your niece with this.
CHLOE MOE!

Plasmarift responds:

Thanks for the comment!

I don't know why, but she loves it, especially when I read it like this, though I'm hoping she gets into stories like, I don't know, star wars or something not about good feelings and life lessons!

Dig it! Not a huge metal fan, but some of those riffs are sick.

Demon-Slayer12 responds:

Pantera is a pretty easy metal band to get into, Dimebag's riffs were awesome.

It's good but the lead voice has trouble carrying and seems to prefer to mimic Medley, rather than try to make the part his own. The result is very mechanical and bland.

Plasmarift responds:

That could be because I did both parts myself (Hatfield's part was recorded weeks after so in a sense, I was trying to match up with Medley's vocals). I do agree that parts of it sound bland and mechanical, especially when both voices are playing over each other.

Hmmm

But the piano is a percussion instrument. Did you tell them that?

Gravey responds:

Yea, to be honest no. I figured doing so would ruin their fun. :-P

To be young again!

nice work. Really excellent theme you got going there, and very nostalgic for days of being a kid.

Meebs responds:

thanks :)

Haha

I've never had so much fun just bobbing up and down.

B3rzerk responds:

hehe, thats good.

thnx for reviewing

I really like this

This type of song has a lot of potential. I think the song itself gets confused at points of whether it wants to be a video game tune or a stand-alone pop/rock/techno song. Otherwise fantastic.

benzine responds:

I have to agree, its my first go at this 'power-pop' stylie and I found it hard to keep to that genre, I think i just had too many ideas for it. But If you enjoyed it i'm happy.
