Thanks for the comment!
I don't know why, but she loves it, especially when I read it like this, though I'm hoping she gets into stories like, I don't know, star wars or something not about good feelings and life lessons!
It's good but the lead voice has trouble carrying and seems to prefer to mimic Medley, rather than try to make the part his own. The result is very mechanical and bland.
That could be because I did both parts myself (Hatfield's part was recorded weeks after so in a sense, I was trying to match up with Medley's vocals). I do agree that parts of it sound bland and mechanical, especially when both voices are playing over each other.
Hmmm
But the piano is a percussion instrument. Did you tell them that?
To be young again!
nice work. Really excellent theme you got going there, and very nostalgic for days of being a kid.
thanks :)
Haha
I've never had so much fun just bobbing up and down.
I really like this
This type of song has a lot of potential. I think the song itself gets confused at points of whether it wants to be a video game tune or a stand-alone pop/rock/techno song. Otherwise fantastic.
I have to agree, its my first go at this 'power-pop' stylie and I found it hard to keep to that genre, I think i just had too many ideas for it. But If you enjoyed it i'm happy.
